Bangkok;s oldest and largest temple,
Wat Pho is located next to the Grand Palace and is home to a magnificent reclining
Buddha with mother-of-pearl inlay on the soles of its feet. A focus of learning
for generations , the temple is also a centre for the practice of Thai traditional
massage.

Wat Benchamabopit
The newest of the royal temples, the Marble temple was con-structed during
the reign of King rama V and its spectacular interior is decorated with cross
beams of lacquer and gold . A large collection of bronze Buddha images lines the
walls of the spacious courtyard. |
